Woman disguises a help call as a Pizza ordering call |911|
A dispatcher named Tim Teneyck from 911 felt like he was being a matter of some joke, when he received a called ordering a pizza from an Ohio woman. According to him, he said to the women that this isn’t a pizza place and she shouldn’t be mocking 911.
The women kept repeating No! No! I want to order a pizza. This was when the dispatcher started to suspect the situation. And indeed it was a call for help.
The dispatcher was commended by the media and police for being sensible enough to not cut the call without listening. According to sources he doesn’t have any sort of formal training for understanding such disguise calls and still he managed to save lives.
The woman who called was a domestic violence victim and was trying to save herself as well as her children, which is when she decided to call.
Wonder what her situation would be that she couldn’t make a straight call to 911 for help. Glad that the dispatcher figured the situation just in time.
Also the woman was clever and brave to make such call and the alleged abuser named Simon Lopez was arrested.
