Sadly, actress Blake Lively recently confirmed that she won’t be attending Met Gala 2023 due to her 4th pregnancy. One Direction members will also be skipping the gala event. Its been circling that Zendaya, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet, Lily Rose are also not attending the event.
Other major celebrities who skipped the event are Law Roach, Jonathan Major, Hailey Bieber, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Harry Styles.

Met Gala 2023 Looks, Theme and Celebrities
The Met Gala theme this year is dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld, the late designer and creative director of Chanel, who passed away in 2019. The theme is titled ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, and the dress code is ‘In honor of Karl. Karl Lagerfeld was a regular attendee at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute.
