The series follows Yuji Itadori, an abnormally strong high school student. He is enrolled at Tokyo Jujutsu High as an apprentice in “jujutsu sorcerer”. After eating Sukuna’s finger, he becomes the unwitting host to Ryomen Sukuna. Sukuna is a powerful curse spirit who plots to regain his material form. When will it air?
The season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 11:56 p.m. Japanese Standard Time (JST), on regional Japanese networks. The release date was confirmed by the official Jujutsu Kaisen Twitter account in March.
Main Plot of Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen
Season 2 will cover the Gojo’s Past arc of the manga. It follows Satoru Gojo’s time as a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, and the Shibuya Incident arc. That will center on the events immediately following the end of season 1.
We don’t know which OTT platform will show this season 2. However, it is anticipated that Crunchyroll will keep offering the series on their site in other countries.
