Muichiro Tokito is the youngest member of the Demon Slayer Corps whose age is just 14 years old. He is also known as the Mist Hashira.

Muichiro Tokito is the Mist Hashira in the Tanjiro era who uses the Mist Breathing Style. Only he can use this breathing style in his generation, which makes him one of the most potent Hashira among all Hashiras.

 He became a Hashira only after two months of training in Demon Slayers Corp.

Some interesting facts about Muichiro Tokito – The Mist Hashira

Since he’s the Mist Hashira, Muichiro is his generation’s most adept Mist Breathing technique. He’s so highly proficient in Mist Breathing that he created other techniques, which immensely helped him go up against the 12 Kizuki. 

Muichiro is one of the Hashira who developed his Breathing Style to create his personal technique called Shichi no kata: Oboro (Seventh Form: Obscuring Clouds). Due to this technique, he can dramatically change the tempo of the user’s movement to disorient opponents by creating clouds of mist that cover a wide area.

Muichiro Tokito is the only living blood relative of Yoriichi; the Mist Hashira is the descendant of the child that Michikatsu Tsugikuni, Yoriichi’s twin brother, left behind when he became a Demon Slayer.

He has one twin brother who was killed by a demon. Before the death of his twin brother, he was a very cheerful person. He had a very compassionate and optimistic personality, the opposite of his current personality shown now. But after his brother’s death, he lost his memories, and rage against demons was set in his heart.

Tokito Muichiro‘s Demon Slayer Mark first awakened during his fight against Gyokko. His Mark appears as a mist that covers his entire body, most noticeably on his face and arms.

Due to this Demon Slayer Mark, his offensive and defensive abilities are greatly increased from the usual.

The mark increased his overall abilities rapidly. His protection against poison increased and he single-handedly killed the upper-rank demon. But once Mark vanished, he suffered from after effects and also the effect of poison.
