Lakeland Shooting injured 11 including 2 fighting for life

Once again a shooting incident in Lakeland, Florida shocked the whole America. The Lakeland shooting took place on afternoon of Monday, January 30, 2023.  According to Lakeland police, it was a “targeted attack” and all the eleven victims were sent to the nearest hospital. All of them got severe injury but nine of them were able to talk excepting the man who was shot in face and another whose abdomen was hit by bullet.

The shooting was done by four suspects who came in a dark blue four-door Nissan with tinted windows. The vehicle is recovered by the police. It has a temporary license played. Though the suspects are not arrested yet but the police has recovered a considerable quantity of marijuana at the scene which hints that there was some kind of narcotic sales was going on at the time. Also, presence of marijuana gives clues about the targeted shooting.

Just before the shooting, a bus carrying kids came to the place from which a lot of kids get off to go to the nearby locality and luckily no one of them injured. We have still not forgotten the recent school shooting.  

The police department has also announced a reward of USD 5000 for anyone who gives reliable information about the suspects. If you have information please share it with police at 1-900-226 TIPS (8477).
