The Met Gala theme this year is dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld, the late designer and creative director of Chanel, who passed away in 2019. The theme is titled ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, and the dress code is ‘In honor of Karl. Karl Lagerfeld was a regular attendee at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute.

K-pop girl group Blackpink’s Jennie and Rose are likely to debut at the mega event this year. Paris Hilton will also be attending the Gala for the first time. Sadly, actress Blake Lively recently confirmed that she won’t be attending Met Gala 2023 due to her 4th pregnancy. One Direction members will also be skipping the gala event.
