World Wrestling Entertainment Know as WWE is infamous for staying in controversies. WWE has seen many ups downs in recent years, but this deed is way above anything. This Friday WWE Apologizes for Using an Image of Auschwitz Concentration Camp!
Vince McMahon who is executive manager of WWE faced another controversy. The show used an image from the Auschwitz concentration camp in a promo. The promo was for wrestler Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio match on 1st April 2023. If yo are not aware, Auschwitz camp is a place in Poland, known for the deaths it has seen. Over 1 million peoples were murdered by the Nazis during World War II at the camp.
The WWE used the photo Auschwitz camp in the storyline between Rey Mysterio and Dominic Mysterio match in which Dominic Mysterio going to jail after being involved in an incident with Rey Mysterio and when Dominic said this in the promo that “You think this is a game to me?

I served hard times and I survived” the image of Auschwitz camp appeared and some wrestling fans noticed the image but it drew more attention when Auschwitz Memorial posted this on Twitter with caption that “is hard to call an editing mistake
After this WWE gave a statement in which they said “We had no knowledge of what was depicted and soon as we learned our mistake it was removed immediately. We really apologize for this error.”
Auschwitz Memorial said in a statement that, “Exploiting the site that became a symbol of enormous human tragedy is shameless and insult to the memory of all victims of Auschwitz.
